When I found the opportunity, I switched to the tent I use now.

As a result of my research before starting camping, I came to the conclusion that a good mat and sleeping bag are more important than a tent. This matt, which provides very good thermal insulation and reflects body heat back thanks to the material used in its content, enables me to have a warm sleep especially on cold floors and weather. In my first few rounds - because the weather was hot - I carried a thin foam mattress for comfort.

Sleeping Bag: Forclaz 10 ° Light Sleeping Bag (Turkey) (2015) ($ 54). If there is one important thing after the mat, it is the sleeping bag. Although the recommended temperature to provide a comfortable temperature is up to 10 ° C, I have used it up to 0 ° C at night. That nights also the performance was good.

Inflatable Bed: Single-550g (China) (2019) ($ 20). I use an inflatable mattress that can swell in 5-10 breaths, its bulk is the size of the palm (26x10 cm), and 190x60x5 cm (length, width, thickness) in open form. I bought it for comfort on some gravel floors. I lay the mat on it and sleep. It can be used only alone in the summer months.

Inflatable pillow: (China) (2017) ($ 1.10). It can be inflated in 4-5 breaths and it is 38 * 24 * 12 cm in open form.

In addition, I carry a sheet and a pillowcase with me.

Dining Equipment

Until 2019, I was meeting my food needs with the food I bought from the markets or restaurants on the road. Whenever possible, I bought my equipment to cook.

Camping stove: I use a gas-fired, 290 gr stove. (China) (2019) ($ 12)

Camping pots: Aluminum alloy, 400 g, 3 pieces (deep pot, teapot, pan) (China) (2019) ($ 20). I can say that it is an ideal equipment for simple meals such as pasta, cooking eggs and brewing tea. It can be used for these purposes. When I wanted to cook slightly more complicated dishes, the food I cooked stuck to the bottom because it was too thin. I use a small steel pot and teflon pan instead of this equipment on very long tours.

Camping gas: 230 gr, I use screw cartridge. (Turkey) (2019) ($ 4). I bought this cartridge once. As it runs out, I fill it with lighter gas. *** I do not understand that it is expensive than a picnic tube.

Thermos bags (4 pieces): (China) (2017) ($ 3). These bags protect my food and drinks from the sun's rays and at least keep them cool. I do not carry a water bottle on my bike. I put the water bottle in one of these bags and live. It keeps cold for up to 2 hours in summer.

In addition to these: I carry oil, salt, cutlery (from those we use at home) and the necessary equipment (sponge, detergent) for washing dishes.
